I have been Whole Foods Plant Based since 2015. One problem I have with many Plant Based cookbooks is the recipes sometimes are quite involved or use ingredients that are hard to come by. Not so with this cookbook. All recipes are easy to make and all that I have tried are absolutely delicious. Whether you are a beginner or are a veteran Whole Food Plant Based eater, I would highly recommend this book.

If you want easy, delicious and inexpensive recipes to make, this is the cookbook for you! Every recipe we have tried and has been wonderful. It takes very little time to assemble the recipes and not many ingredients. The ingredients are very common and what you would already have in your pantry. If you are vegan or not vegan, you would still enjoy these recipes. I would definitely recommend this cookbook to everyone!

I ordered several vegan cookbooks at the same time. I was very excited when they all came in, and I tried recipes from each of them. I was a little disappointed at the lack of pictures in this particular book. So upon delivery, it was my least favorite. However, after trying a recipe, I was surprised at how delicious it was. Better than the recipes of the other, more colorful recipe books I ordered. So, I continued to try more recipes out of this book. So far, every recipe that I’ve tried has turned out wonderful. This is my new favorite cookbook. I was very pleasantly surprised with the numerous high-quality recipes. I definitely recommend this book.

I try to eat healthy, but don't especially like to cook and absolutely hate making recipes that have tons of steps or require me to buy a lot of "non-standard" items or spices. So I was overjoyed to see that the recipes in this book are not only easy to make but that I already had 99% of the ingredients in my kitchen. So far, I've made 3 recipes (chickpea curry, orange-glaze tofu, and a smoothie) and all of them were simple to prepare and very tasty. This is one cookbook that I will be using frequently - I love it!

I did a quick skim of this book. It has a ton of information for new Plant based dieters. The recipes look amazing. Each recipe says the serving size and gives the nutritional info which I love. I also appreciate that the ingredients are common and most can be found at local stores, a few could be ordered from Amazon if you live in a smaller area. I would feel if I gave this book to my 80 yo mom she would understand exactly what plantbased diet is.

THIS. This is just simply amazing. It might not be for EVERY SINGLE PERSON OUT THERE but it works for a lot of people and I have seen it with my own 2 eyes. I myself have really struggled with major weight fluctuations ever since my first pregnancy back in 2007. Before I got pregnant I was 119 lbs. At the end of that pregnancy I was 175 lbs. About 2 months after giving birth I managed to get back down to 120 lbs but it was short lived. 2 years later, within about 3 months my weight skyrocketed from 120 lbs to 170 lbs!!! That was the summer of 2010. Between 2010 and 2014 my weight just kept fluctuating between 175-190 lbs. I ended up getting engaged and wanted to lose weight for the wedding. I started at 190 lbs and worked my butt off in the gym, counting calories, drinking nothing but water, working out some more, cutting more calories, etc. By the date of my wedding I managed to get down to 125lbs.

I bought it, after reading negative comments about " hard to get ingredients " and how " all have to be organic " because I already eat organic and most of food in my kitchen is hard to get, so I said to myself - that's sound interesting. Great book! It's helping my husband keep his blood sugar down. I particularly love its recipes--especially the one for granola. I've been making granola for years, but it became difficult for my husband to consume when he came down with Type 2 Diabetes. Now he can have granola again that doesn't jack up his blood sugar. When my kids visit, they also enjoy this granola because it's so delicious. Fortunately for them, they don't need to worry about their blood sugar, but it's just too delicious to ignore.

The beginning of this book explains how to boost your metabolism, which foods aide in increased metabolism and which foods to avoid. It also debunks myths about traditional dieting and why most fad diets don’t work. I am the type of person that goes on a restricted calorie diet as soon as I notice I put on some weight. Yes, I lose the weight, but I end up putting it right back. This is a constant cycle of deprivation and frustration. I like the ideas put forth in this book, such as burning fat while keeping your metabolism active and incorporating moderate exercise.

This is an excellent book. It gives an overall description of the diet and what it can do. It starts with explaining, giving hints for success, shopping lists, recipes, and sample meals. Very easy to follow. I started the diet for two weeks and lost weight, lowered my sugar A1c and in such a short time felt like I was more awake, alert, and physically stronger with less ailments. My doctors were finally pleased with my progress.
